Essential Guidelines for Student Success at Amazing Training and Delivery of Exceptional Customer Service (Including Terms of Service)

The website through which you scheduled your training clearly outlines our No-Refund Policy, and acknowledgment of this policy is required prior to payment submission. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted these terms. Amazing Training and its affiliated companies maintain a strict no-refund policy for all products and services purchased. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to disputes regarding services not rendered, dissatisfaction with service quality, or claims that terms were not clearly presented.

Although refunds are not permitted, students may reschedule their class up to two times under the following conditions: the required Pretest must be submitted by the original due date, and a minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice must be provided prior to the scheduled class date. If rescheduling occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice, a $100 fee will be assessed. This fee is not intended to generate profit but to maintain accountability, as late rescheduling results in lost opportunities to offer the seat to another student. Pre-course work must be submitted before a new date can be offered, and rescheduling does not extend the original Pretest submission deadline. Additionally, we are unable to reschedule your appointment until the $100 fee has been assessed and paid when applicable. If attending a class outside the Dallas area, rescheduling may take up to five weeks before we return to that location.

The Pretest is a mandatory and essential preparatory step for your training session. Students must achieve a minimum score of 70% before attending class. You may take the Pretest as many times as necessary to reach the required score. The Pretest certificate must be submitted via email at amazingtraining@proton.me no later than 8:00 PM the day before your scheduled class. Timely submission is required for attendance. Failure to complete and submit the Pretest by the deadline will result in the need to reschedule your training.

Pretest deadlines were implemented due to students previously arriving without completing required pre-course work and mandatory videos. This requirement is mandated by the AHA and ensures a streamlined and efficient class experience.

Active participation is mandatory throughout the course. Students are required to take notes during the EKG section to effectively learn and retain the material. Without active engagement and note-taking, a successful learning experience cannot be ensured. If this requirement presents any issue, you must notify us in advance. You may request a refund within one hour of receiving the original email outlining these expectations.

These courses are accelerated and require students to arrive fully prepared to work efficiently and complete all material on time. The pace is fast, and there is little room for delay or lack of preparation. For comparison, BLS courses traditionally last 6 hours, but our class is 2 hours. ACLS courses traditionally last 12 hours for initial certification and 8 hours for recertification, while our class is 4 hours. PALS courses traditionally last 12 hours for initial certification and 8 hours for recertification, while our class is also 4 hours. Because of this accelerated format, pre-course preparation is essential. These certifications involve life-saving skills, and students are expected to demonstrate focus, professionalism, and commitment throughout the course.

Students must be available for the entirety of the scheduled class and should allow for a one-hour grace period beyond the scheduled end time in case the session runs over. A 10-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Arrivals beyond 10 minutes will require rescheduling. Students are expected to plan accordingly and account for traffic and weather conditions, as these will not be accepted as excuses for tardiness.

This training operates in a professional environment similar to a college setting. Participation is required. Behavior standards mirror those expected in a university classroom, including restrictions on cellphone use during instruction. Breaks will be provided, during which cellphones may be used.

Students must bring a notebook, paper, pen, and laptop. Professional attire is required. Scrubs are preferred but not mandatory. Shorts, tank tops, low-cut blouses, and leggings are not permitted. Because CPR and other hands-on skills will be performed, professional dress ensures comfort, respect, and a focused learning environment. Printed study guides for ACLS and PALS (attached to the original email) are required. If you do not have a printer, you may use services such as Office Depot, Staples, or FedEx Copy & Ship Center to print the materials.

The training agenda includes completion of the Pretest remotely at home using your own computer. The EKG interpretation portion lasts approximately 1.5 hours and covers rhythms from Normal Sinus Rhythm to Third-Degree Heart Block. ACLS and/or PALS protocols and skills practice last approximately 2 hours. When BLS is combined with ACLS or PALS, it is 1 hour. BLS Provider only courses last 2 hours.

Post-examinations are completed remotely with open-book access. ACLS and PALS exams consist of 50 multiple-choice questions, and students may miss up to 8 questions. Two attempts are allowed to pass. The BLS exam consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, and students may miss up to 4 questions. Two attempts are also permitted for BLS.
